Our story

Fresco Foods was founded by childhood friends Sandro and Francesco, who shared a passion for travel, food, and discovering new flavours.

With extensive experience in the food and travel industries, Sandro and Francesco set out to make their own contribution to the world of take away.

Sandro brings to the company a wealth of experience as a tour operator, enabling him to have travelled the world in exploration of flavours, and as a restauranteur in both Italy and the UK.

Francesco, on the other hand, has spent his life in business and innovative technologies, including founding an international food trading business, offering the finest food products of southern Italy with the world through an e-commerce platform.

Our first Fresco Kitchen opened in the heart of London's East End, serving up four brands from the City to the Docklands.

Italian classics including lasagna and risotto by Il Lasagnista, an unique take on pizza by The Alt Slice, globally-inspired burgers by Explorer's Grill and signature chicken dishes by Wingcognito form part of our initial offering.

As an experimental testbed, Kitchen 0 is where we refined our menus and put our innovative tech into practice.

Fresco is coming to a neighbourhood near you.

With its operation a proven success, work is well underway to establish Fresco Foods brands across the UK.
